...here is a brief introduction to our organisation.

Notts and Yorkshire Boxer Rescue is a registered charity run entirely on a voluntary basis by a dedicated team of people who have a passion for the breed. Although we are based in Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire we do, in fact, rescue and re-home throughout the UK and have a network of volunteers who assist us. In the last year alone we re‑homed 56 Boxer dogs.

We are an ethically run rescue with the very highest of welfare standards and care. Committed to promoting responsible dog ownership we offer guidance and advice to anyone seeking help or reassurance, including the education of the public about the welfare of all Boxer dogs. As a result of our work, we are recognised by the Kennel Club as a breed rescue. We receive support from many other organisations including the Anglian Boxer Club. We are however an independent rescue organisation and do not operate in association with any other Boxer rescue organisation.

Prior to adoption, all dogs are neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and any necessary veterinary treatment completed whilst dogs are in our care. A full behavioural assessment is completed to ensure they are matched the right Fur-Ever home. Once a dog has been re-homed, we will offer long term support to the people adopting from us

Whether you are interested in adopting a rescued Boxer, looking to rehome a Boxer that you can no longer care for or simply have a love of the Boxer breed, we hope you will find the site both interesting and informative.
